John Deere Tractor stolen from Provost’s Battle River Implements overnight

Update (Dec. 7 at 4:52 p.m.):

Provost RCMP would like to advise the tractor was located Friday evening by Leduc RCMP near Range Road 222 and Township Road 500 in Leduc, Alta.

It was not damaged and has been returned to the owner but the stolen trailer used in the offence is still missing.

A photo of the semi used in these offences and the stolen trailer is attached. The trailer may have an Alberta licence plate #5VX006.

Provost RCMP were notified on Fri. Dec.4 of a theft of a John Deere 6155M tractor from Battle River Implements in Provost.

The tractor was stolen sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 3:15 a.m., on Dec. 3, 2020.

The suspect(s) used a white semi and utilized a trailer that was also stolen from a residence in the Hamlet of Hayter, Alta., the same morning.

The value of the tractor and trailer is over $200,000.

Provost RCMP are asking anyone that may have been driving in the Hamlet of Hayter or Provost during these hours and seen the semi or anything suspicious to contact them at 780-753-2683.
