Willis Edward Job
July 29, 1940- Oct. 19, 2019

Willis was born in Burstall, Sask. to farmers Edward and Irene Job (nee Roth).

In 1953, their family of three moved north of Hanna, Alta. to the Netherby area where they continued to expand their land base and cattle operation.

Willis loved to take care of the cattle, as well as help his parents with all other farm duties.

In his older years, he liked to collect antique tractors. He took pride in growing a garden and loved having people over for coffee or going out to visit.

He was hard working and always had a project on the go!

Willis enjoyed the many visits, phone calls and meals he received these past months from his friends, family and neighbours.

He was able to remain in his home on his own, until the last few days.

It was Willis’ wish to not have a formal service.

Members of his family, close friends and neighbours will gather in the spring to commemorate him and spread his ashes where he fed his cows all of his life.

“We will miss our Dad, Grandpa and Friend!”

Left to mourn his passing are his son Clayton Job (Christi Durand), granddaughter Shelby Job, grandson Trenton Durand, son Tracey (Angela) Job, grandsons Coultin and Parker Job, granddaughter Meagan Job, daughter Pamela Hurry (Farley Wisoley) and grandson Devyn Hurry.

If you so desire, a donation in his name can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
