Kathleen Elaine (Richardson) Hohmann
February 27, 1950 – May 26, 2019

Having received tender care at Sturgeon Community Hospital, St. Albert, Kathleen Elaine (Richardson) Hohmann died peacefully attended by close friends and family.

Stettler was home for Kathy until she left to attend the University of Alberta in 1968.

Music and the arts, exploring the world by camping, hiking, reading and photography became lifelong loves.

Once Edmonton was her home, teaching and bookkeeping became her work.

Travelling coast-coast-coast in Canada and through parts of Europe, UK and USA – was her play.

Her nieces and nephews were her delight!

Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Bi and Vern Richardson and ex-husband Chris Hohmann. Mourning her death are Auntie Ethel Williams, Uncles Jack Smith and Charlie Usher; her sister Carol and Mel Schwab of Winnipeg, Mb.; her brother Bob and Jan Richardson of Stettler, Alta. and their families: Jon and Danelle (Zoe, Esme and Isabella); Joel and Erin; Aaron and Anna; Miriam and Jon; Dawn and Ryan (Asher); Doug and Nora; as well as extended family members and cherished friends.

A funeral service was held at Stettler United Church on Wed. June 5 at 2 p.m. with Barbara Lieurance officiating.

Memorial donations are welcome to CKUA Radio at http://ckua.com/support/; the Stettler Legion Branch 59 Poppy Fund (5010 51 St, Stettler, Ab T0C 2L0); or a charity of your choice.
