On Thursday, November 24, 2011 Irene Alfreda Heckenliable of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 84 years. Left to cherish her many memories are her son Wayne (Connie); daughter Freida Roskewich; four grandchildren Robbie (Terrie) Roskewich, Carey (Chad) Haman, Corey (Chantal) Roskewich, Tammy (Charles) Matthews; 10 great-grandchildren; five siblings Lawrence (Edith) Anderson, Bernice McComish, Ken (Lil) Anderson, Cliff (Helen) Anderson, Edna Kary; also numerous other relatives. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband Raymond in 1990; three sisters Maxine Nelson, Marie Litke, Shirley Epp; son-in-law Phil Roskewich.
Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service was held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. at First United Church, 10409-100 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan.
