Ice and blowing snow on roads across east central Alberta caused hazards for drivers including this transport truck that blocked Highway 599 approximately two miles west of Highway 872 on Monday, March 7.

A semi-truck has jackknifed on Highway 9 west of Hanna. Roads are partially covered with ice combined with highwinds. Two RCMP vehicles were on site to regulate traffic as the truck remains in place. Please drive with caution.
