Eddie Makokis was the winner of Heat #1 in the chuckwagon races at the Hardisty Rodeo on Sun. July 16 with a time of 101.88 in a tight race with Lanny Woods, second place with a time of 103.03 followed closely by Brian Miller off the first barrel with a time of 103.82. ECA Review/J.Webster

Remedy Oilfield combine driven by Mike Palmer and ‘Rodeo Rocket’ driven by Kevin Belesk go head-to-head in the first heat of the Combine Crunch at the Hardisty Rodeo Sun. July 16.

Evan Bayliss exits his combine which was the first casualty of the Combine Crunch. Robin Smith drove Alvin Wanechko’s combine ‘Pilsner’ to the finish to close out the 75th Annual Hardisty Rodeo. Wanechko, started the Combine Crunch over 10 years ago, fixes, buys parts throughout the year and usually drives his own combine but was hurt in the Wild Cow Milking earlier in the day.
