Hardisty farm break and enter and theft

Killam RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter with theft at a rural residence near Hardisty, Ab. the morning of Tues, May 22 at approximately 7:30 a.m.
A male suspect broke into a shed and then a residence. The male was confronted by the home owner and took a set of keys to a vehicle outside the residence and fled.
The home owner was not injured.
Killam RCMP along with surrounding detachments made extensive patrols in the area but the male suspect and stolen vehicle were not located.
The male suspect is described as caucasian, approximately 5’8”, brown hair, blue shirt, dark pants and heavy build.
The stolen vehicle is described as a grey Chevrolet Blazer (2000) Alberta plate #93J587.

Theft of lawn mowers
Suspect(s) entered the property of Cervus Equipment John Deere in the town of Coronation and stole three lawn mowers just after 3 a.m. on Fri. May 25.
The suspect(s) entered the property in a pick-up truck hauling an enclosed utility trailer from the south side entrance of Railway Avenue.
The stolen mowers were all green and yellow in colour and described as a John Deere D130, John Deere Z335E and John Deere Z345M.

A female attended a Stettler business on May 19, 2018 and is believed to have stolen a pair of shoes. If anyone has information on this or any other crime, they are encouraged to call Stettler RCMP or Crimestoppers. ECA Review/Submitted
