Hanna school to see modernization efforts

An announcement of expansive modernization was made by Minister of Education Jeff Johnson at J.C. Charyk school in Hanna on January 29, 2014.

It was revealed that the school will be modernized to accommodate the addition of Kindergarten to Grade 3 students from the Hanna Primary School, which is scheduled to be closed down. Press Secretary to the Minister, Dan Powers, says work will be done on the 1967 and 1994 sections of the school and modernization costs will likely exceed more than $10,000.
