Blair (Tairsa) and their children Jaidyn, Colbie, and Kaelum of Sylvan Lake, Alta.; siblings Bryan Glasier of Coronation, Alta. Carol Funnell of Lethbridge, Alta., and Judy (John) Bargholz of Sundre, Alta.
Also Terry’s siblings Dennis (Phoebe) Suntjens of Denver, Colorado, Tout (Stacee) Suntjens of Coronation, Carol (Dennis) Glover of Edmonton, Cliff (Willa) Suntjens of Cowichan BC, Connie (Ken) Dykstra of Vermilion, Andy Gesner of Lac La Biche and Ray Suntjens of Coronation; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of many friends.
Dwayne will be remembered for many things, most notably, his love of cattle, his unparalleled athleticism, his mischievous sense of humour, and a razor-sharp memory that never forgot a kindness…or a slight.
He was a member of the Auctioneer’s Association for 44 years and was featured on W5 TV program produced by CTV News as one of the first working graduates from the Western Canadian School of Auctioneering.
He had a way with children and had lots of neighbour kids, nephews and nieces that wanted nothing more than to ride in the tractor with him, somehow there was always a treat for them.
Never in a hurry, he was well known for slowly surveying the countryside, searching for wildlife and native flowers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat. Dec. 17, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Coronation Community Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alberta Lung Association or a local charity of your choice in memory of Dwayne would be appreciated.
