Donald Edwin “Jake” Ganong
Sept. 3, 1936 – Sept. 30, 2021
With great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Edwin Ganong of Hanna, Alta. at the age of 85 years.
Donald is survived by his wife Theresa Ganong, nephew Randy Weir, nieces Sandy Weir and Kim Weir, along with many other relatives and friends.
Donald was predeceased by his mother Lillian Ganong, father Walter Ganong and sister Norma Weir.
Donnie spent 60 plus years working at Don’s Shell Service Station, K & B Motors and Hanna Chrysler.
He was easy going, friendly, eager and happy.
He liked his cars, playing bingo, rummage sales, hockey, music and travelling.
He was a dedicated employee, friend to many and enjoyed his trips down east with family.
A Celebration of Life will be held next spring/summer.
