Gale-force winds cause issues in east central Alberta

Winds gusting up to 107 kilometres per hour in east central and southern Alberta on Fri. Oct. 25 pushed over corral panelling, signs, and snapped off power poles in the Coronation area.

Traffic was  stopped in southern Alberta, including cars for safety reasons.

A truck loaded with round bales was pushed off the road by the gale-force winds south of Coronation but luckily the driver was able to keep the truck upright.

Power was out in many areas as well.
