Fischer

Trudy Louise was born June 29, 1952 to parents Eric and Emma Holtz and passed away Sept. 5, 2020 at Stettler, Alta. at the age of 68 years.

Trudy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Raymond Fischer; children Trudy Cymbaluk and Mike Fischer; grandchildren Nicholas Fischer, Shayla Cymbaluk and Elise Cymbaluk; siblings Carol Brown, Albert Holtz and David Holtz; as well as many dear friends.

Trudy died from complications of kidney cancer.

She kept her pain and discomfort to herself to save her family grief and worry but in the end, we cry and loved our wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Her absence is felt in the loud silence that surrounds all of us.

She lived her life on her own terms up until the last possible moment.

She did not let cancer rule her.

She was known and loved for her generous and giving nature and her wonderous green fingers and thumbs.

Graveside service was held at Lake View Cemetery Columbarium on Thurs., Sept. 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. with long time friend Gordon Miller officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your own choice.

Condolences may be forwarded to the family by signing the guestbook at www.stettlerfuneralhome.com.

Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium, 403-742-3422, entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements.
