The Provost Panthers had an “Under the Lights” football game at Oct. 5, 2018.
The Panthers played against JR Robson from Vermilion, Ab. The Vermilion team played very well but they did go home defeated and the Panthers celebrated their first win this season.
The Vermilion team is a fairly new team because they have made the transition from 12-man to 6-man football.
They only need some more practice and some bigger guys on their team and they will be able to compete with teams more used to the smaller format.
The game wasn’t long, 1:26:54 and the score was 62 – 0 but we both played fair and good.
It was a good atmosphere for players and fans alike.
Way to go Provost Panthers!
