Looks like Christmas in July or a warehouse garage sale, but this is a first-ever project for Samaritan’s Purse (SP), Calgary, and many charities like the Three Hills Food Bank. After Amazon donated 52 pallets of returns to SP, they invited associated charities to help themselves. Meeting in SP’s cavernous warehouse and distribution centre July 25, the charities including churches, shelters, food banks and social service agencies took home a bewildering assortment of toys, sporting and leisure equipment, home décor and clothing items.
