Everyone loves a parade

Janet Zimmer, Christy Pengally and son Tanton rode in the Coronation Tire parade golf cart. Coronation Tire won second place for 'best theme' for its entry.

The results of the 2013 Coronation Parade are as follows:
Best Theme: 1st – Coronation 4-H Beef Club, 2nd – Coronation Tire & Rubber.
Business Section: 1st – Home Hardware, 2nd – Vital Computer, 2nd – Cervus John Deere, 2nd – Coronation Value Drug Mart.
Floats: 1st – ATB Financial, 2nd – County of Paintearth, 2nd – Painted Pony Liquor Store.
Clubs and Churches: 1st – Coronation Memorial Library.
Out of Town: 1st – Town of Stettler, 2nd – Nickels and Dimes Insurance(Castor).
Antiques: 1st – Gloria Harding – Castor, 2nd – Greg & Mary Schroeder(Stettler).
Novelty: 1st – Ramsays Stockman Center, 2nd – Rindal Oilfield – Monster Truck.
Mounted Horses: 1st – Canadian Cowboy Mounted Shooters, 2nd – SK Welding – Triffen Newchuk.
Driven Horses: 1st – LCL Angus.
Loyal Participation Ribbon awarded to Chris and Toni Selzler.
The weather was perfect for the Parade! Thanks to everyone who took the time to put in an entry. It is a lot of work but everyone loves a parade and you make it happen!
Judges Karen Horn and Kathryn Rice had a great time checking everyone out while zooming around with the Kubota supplied by Future Ag and we appreciate them for taking the time to help out.
