It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Patricia (Patti) Everson on Jan. 17, 2018 at the age of 64.
Patti was born in Stettler, Ab. on March 12, 1953 to Jim and Phyllis Robinson. She grew up on the family farm north of Gadsby and took her schooling in Gadsby and Stettler.
After high school Patti attended Olds College in the Secretarial Arts program. She married Bruce Everson and they moved to Castor, Ab. in 1977 where they owned Castor Auto Body and raised their family.
Patti worked at Gus Wetter School for 27 years, first as a teacher aide and later as Librarian.
Patti was a loving mother and a loyal friend. She will be deeply missed by her four children: Janell (Craig) Bunbury, Jody (Stephanie) Everson, Dalen (Danielle) Everson and Reyna (Terrance) Olson; and her grandchildren Kaylee Bunbury, Reese and Bek Everson, Landon, Kale and Jack Everson, Emery and Nero Olson.
She is also survived by her siblings Jimaine Walgenbach, Debbie (Harold) Hansel, Norman (Donna) Robinson, Robert (Gwen) Robinson, Raymond Robinson, Betty Ann (John) Cassidy, Laurel (Billy) Smith; and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Patti was predeceased by her father and mother, Jim and Phyllis Robinson, former husband Bruce Everson, brother-in-law Stan Walgenbach, niece Ann Marie Brain, and great-niece Shelby Diegel.
A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at the Castor Community Hall on Fri., Jan. 26, 2018 at 2 p.m.
