Seniors travelled from Round Hill, Stettler, Hanna, Big Valley, Drumheller, Botha, Castor and Halkirk to join Endiang and Byemoor players at the Endmoor Floor Curling Club in a 12 team Sadie Hawkins Day Funspiel on Feb. 29th at Endiang Community Hall.
Costumes for the day were encouraged with seven taking the challenge. The “dressed up ladies” took the “Leap Year” theme supposedly out to “trap their man”.
All participants names were drawn from the hat to draw up mixed teams.
All went home with an edible prize while others won other prize draws.
Games started at 9:30 a.m., each team curled three games, enjoyed a full course lunch and lots of goodies and snacks throughout the day.
