Lousana local William Boulton signs a copy of his book, ‘I Miss Me’ at the Elnora Public Library Author Visit on Monday, December 2. ECA Review/Submitted

Local author and business owner William Boulton stopped by the Elnora Public Library on Monday, December 2 for an Author Visit despite blizzard conditions.
Boulton, a local of Lousana, Alberta recently penned  a novel about his life after a Multiple Sclerosis attack in 2007. The book chronicles his journey when MS left him stuck inside himself as he had to relearn how to “walk, talk, taste, see, feel and hear.”
The book is titled ‘I Miss Me’ and it reveals his fighting ambition, drive and determination despite circumstances.
William says that the intent of the novel is “to give people an idea of what multiple sclerosis can do and what can happen – and to tell them that no matter what happens, they should never give up on hope and always, always keep on fighting.”
William also stresses the importance of his family and friends “who gave up so much of their own lives to help me recover mine.”
He hopes this book will be an inspiration to those facing a devastating, life-changing event.
