A Coronation hardware store is in a state of major clean up after burglars broke into the establishment in the early hours of the morning.
At approximately 1:24 a.m. on Fri. Oct. 18, the suspects broke in, stealing eight shotguns and damaging a large amount of store property.
An RCMP member arrived shortly after in response to the store’s alarm system.
Golby Hardware and Sports reported via social media that the situation was infuriating and that most of their glass cases had been shattered in the process of the break-in.
RCMP is still investigating into the matter but with the glass being beyond repair the forensics team can not find any fingerprints to help identify suspects.
Anyone with more knowledge of the event is encouraged to contact the local detachment.
