Margaret (Marg) Rose Eden, 82, passed away peacefully in Stettler, Alta.
Born in Eckville, Alta., Marg enjoyed spending her childhood in the community before her family moved to Delburne, Alta.
From a very young age Marg loved horses.
Over 50 years she shared that love with hundreds of others as a horse trainer and riding instructor.
Summer months were filled with horse shows, riding lessons and 4-H events.
Marg inherited her amazing green thumb and passion for gardening from her father Larry.
Throughout her years while residing on her acreage in Botha, Alta., she grew a garden and an orchard that could feed an army.
The yard was a rainbow of colours; every planter, pot and barrel was filled with beautiful blooms and fragrant flowers.
The gardening was undoubtedly a balance to her working career.
For over 20 years she was a driving instructor, patiently helping hundreds of new drivers learn to safely maneuver the roadways.
Marg retired in her 70’s and moved into Stettler where she continued to enjoy gardening, painting and enjoying her much loved fur-kid, Zorro.
Marg leaves to mourn her sister Ida; her three children Sandy, Natalie and Darren; seven grandchildren: Brady, Cass, Landon, Jace, Jamie, Jessie and Arlen; four great-grandchildren Braxton, Liam, Emersyn and Austyn; dear friends Jim and Susan Renschler and family; many friends and staff at Heritage House and dear loyal friend Zorro.
