Drumheller RCMP received a report of a house on South Railway Avenue at 01:30 am on Sat. Dec. 17, 2022. Upon arrival, officers observed that the residence was burnt down and likely had been on fire for some time. With the assistance of fire investigators, RCMP located human remains in the home. The male’s death is not deemed to be suspicious at this time and the cause of the fire is continuing to be investigated.
Drumheller RCMP extends their condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. No further information will be released.
