On July 29, members of the Drumheller RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence and shop in the community of Nacmine.
The search resulted in over 50 charges laid including the recovery of stolen vehicles, illegally possessed firearms, improperly stored firearms and ammunition, drug possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking charges as well as charges related to forged vehicle documents and tampered VIN plates.
Charged are 36-year-old John McConnell of Nacmine, 28-year-old Brent Twilley of no fixed address and 22-year-old McKenzie Clarke of Nacmine.
Bail hearings were held and a Justice of the Peace released all accused with court-imposed conditions and a court date of August 24, 2018, in Drumheller.
