Drumheller Dragons faced off against their biggest rivals: the Brooks Bandits on Fri. Sept. 14, at the Drumheller Memorial Arena.
A full house of fans supported the local team as the season kick-started.
After three competitive periods, the Dragons came out on top, beating the Bandits 11 – 3.
The Dragons travelled to Camrose to play the Kodiaks the next night where the team won again with a score of 4 – 1.
These wins have made the Dragons second in the league with four points.
Next game will be at home Sept. 18.
