Dr. Reagan Weeks has been chosen as the successful candidate for the role of Superintendent of Schools at the Prairie Rose Public Schools effective Nov. 1, 2021.

Dr. Weeks is currently the Deputy Superintendent for Prairie Rose Public Schools, having also served in the role of Assistant Superintendent from 2016 until last year.

In her two senior leadership positions, she has been responsible for designing and implementing educational programming and services, leadership and management, human resources and promoting partnership development.

This work has helped support a range of new educational opportunities for Prairie Rose students including the South Alberta Hockey Academy, the DR Flight Academy, and recently announced Prairie Rose Possibilities projects that include sport, agriculture, equine, fine arts and other unique student programs across the division.

In addition to 20 years of teaching and school leadership experience, Dr. Weeks holds a Bachelor of Education degree, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Doctorate of Education from Johns Hopkins University.

The search for a new Superintendent of Schools began this past spring, following the retirement announcement of current Prairie Rose Public Schools Superintendent Roger Clarke who will officially retire at the end of October.
