Prairie Land School Division held the official groundbreaking ceremony for Delia School on Sept. 21, 2020 at the edge of the construction site.
A number of dignitaries and key people involved with the evolution of this project were in attendance to share their thanks and excitement for the additions after $1.2 million was raised ‘in record time’ at only eight months.
The Delia School Enhancement Society (DSES) fundraised for this money to add a 9,000 square foot Community Hub that will be constructed as part of the new build.
The gym will also be receiving 6,500 square footage as well as the library at 1,290. A Community fitness centre will be included at 1,600 square feet.
