Delia 18-2 Summer Camp

Delia’s 18-2 summer camp hosted a 4-on-4 skillz ball Hockey tournament which ran for four days at the Delia Arena.

The camps run the first three weeks of August where elite athletes staff the camps, often through connections with B.C. and local athletes.

They had eight teams in the ball hockey camp with roughly 35 delegates.

After the first day of pool play, they were ranked and split into pools that would have them playing similar skilled opponents.

It had 4-year-olds up to 17-year-olds.

This camp was not focused on skill development like other sports camps.

They warmed up every day with some dodgeball and worked to improve their skill relay time every day.

Seen left: Campers slide across the water and soap soaked sheet large enough for outdoor games with rubber hockey sticks on Wed. Aug. 21.
