Lucille dispatched for a while out of their home but eventually went to work in various places in Coronation.  She worked for Coronation Farm Equipment, Co-op, Dobson’s Jewellery, Pearl’s and Parker’s Variety Store.

Lucille was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years in Coronation.  When the Legion disbanded in town years ago, she later joined the Stettler Legion.  Lucille was also a very active member for many years for the Association of Oil Wives Clubs – Coronation.

Lucille was diagnosed with Dementia last summer which forced her to move to Assisted Living September 3, 2014.  She made new friends and reunited with some old friends during her short eight month stay at Assisted Living.
