Damien C. Kurek was named the official conservative candidate for the Battle River-Crowfoot constituency after the announcement made on July 17 in Camrose.
Kurek grew up in Consort, Alta. and has a lengthy history in politics, including his most recent job working under previous conservative MP Kevin Sorenson who announced his retirement earlier this year.
