Coronation RCMP charge two youth suspects with break and enter

Coronation RCMP received a report of a break and enter into the Value Drug Mart in Coronation on June 2, 2022.

Through the investigation two youth were identified, items stolen including prescription / none prescription drugs, watches and other items which were recovered and the suspects were taken into custody.

The suspects names will not be released as they are both young offenders.

As a result of the investigation Coronation RCMP have charged both youth from Coronation with the following charges of break and enter, theft under $5,000, mischief damage to property, and possession of property obtain by crime under $5,000.

The youth were released from custody by a Justice of the Peace without conditions with a court appearance on June 10, 2022 at Coronation Provincial Court.

In a small community the problems associated with property related crimes are amplified.

As part of our Rural Crime Reduction Strategy we encourage members of the public/businesses to report suspicious activity.
