Coronation parade winners announced

The results are in for the 2018 Coronation Rodeo Parade that took place on Sat. July 7.

Best Theme was won by Coronation Tire & Rubber with second place going to R.E.Brigley & Sons. For the Businesses category, Coronation Industrial took the top spot as well as Vital Solutions. Techmation, Soups and Sweets and Future Ag all tied for second place.

Coronation Memorial Library won first for the Clubs and Churches category. Shorncliff Lake won best Out-of-Town category.

For antiques, Barry McRae with his Chevrolet Impala and Gary Schroeder with his Studebaker tied for first place. Lennart Ohlde won second for his tractor.

Zinger School of Dance won the novelty category. Kim Cooper won first place for Horses and Haley Ries came in second for hers.

“Saturday morning was perfect weather for a parade,” said Terry Perry. “The entries were awesome and the judges, Karen Horn and her friend Darlene Enns, had a great time checking out” all the entries.
