Coronation Parade

Written by ECA Review

Dennis Bossert drives the John Deere 60 pulling a fanning mill working on a flatbed for the agriculture-themed parade on Sat. Sept. 7. Dennis’ uncle, Emil Bossert was the original owner of this fanning mill which was used for cleaning grain before seed cleaning plants took over. Bossert remembers the hardwork of hand-cranking them when they were first built prior to eventually hooking them up to a motor. Bossert’s grandsons, Kip and Griffyn Bossert threw out candy to the parade goers. ECA Review/J. Webster
