Coronation 4-H Beef Club starts up again

The Coronation 4-H club donated Christmas gifts to the Coronation Christmas hamper, $200 to the Coronation School for use of the library to host their meetings as well as $500 to the Coronation Food Bank.  ECA Review/Submitted

The Coronation 4-H Beef Club had its organizational meeting on Oct. 20 and selected an executive as follows: Dionne Elliot for leader, Jessica Kuziw as president, Sydney Elliot as vice president, Rayanna Ramsay as secretary, Kyla Duncan as treasurer, Payton Elliot as district representative, Ryley Ramsay as parliamentarian, Koryn Duncan as reporter and Layton Perry as historian.

This year the club has 24 members and one cleaver member.  The club will also be continuing their meals on wheels program this year.

The Perry family farm donated their facilities for the weigh-in of 24 steers and three heifers.


 


The Dryland Multi 4-H Club of Youngstown participated in 4-H Alberta’s “Helping Hands for the Holidays” Toy Drive.  The members and their families collected toys in the community to be taken to the Ronald MacDonald House in Red Deer.  ECA Review/Submitted
