Coronation 2017 Rodeo parade theme was ‘Celebrating Canada 150’

Another great Parade for Coronation!!
Although numbers were down, the weather was perfect and the gorgeous entries made for a spectators delight.
The Zinger School of Dance girls were a great start for the Parade and we appreciate the work that goes into organizing and choreographing the group.
Redelbacks music could be heard from a block away and had people dancing in the streets.
Katherine Rice and Karen Horn once again acted as judges.  They looked smart in their Canada 150 shirts and even had a Canada 150 mirror cover to put on the Kubota side by side supplied by Future Ag.
The John Deere Gator from Cervus Equipment made it easy to line up the entries.
Winners were: Best Theme: 1st – Coronation Value Drug Mart; 2nd – TD Canada Trust
Business Section:  Decorated Vehicles:  1st  – Home Hardware; 2nd –  RE Brigley and Sons.
Floats: 1st – Coronation  Tire; 2nd – Zinger School of Dance
Clubs & Churches: 1st – Coronation Memorial |Library
Out of Town: 1st – Little Keepsakes – Stettler; 2nd – Gracenotes – Stettler.
Antiques: a tie for 1st – Lennart Ohlde and Lawrence Goulet; tie for 2nd – Vicky Horkoff and Chris Saunders
Novelty: 1st-Coronation Swimming Pool; 2nd –  Dennis Bossert Family
Horses: 1st – Ashley Scoville and Shaelyn Hewitt; 2nd – Hailey Ries, Ashley Cooper and Dan Kinakin.
