Consort registered nurse takes on top RhPAP role

RhPAP is pleased to announce that Amy Deagle of Consort, Alberta has joined our team as Director of Health Professions.

Ms. Deagle started her first with RhPAP on Aug. 10, 2020.

Ms. Deagle is a Masters-prepared Registered Nurse with a passion for rural health.

She has spent the majority of her career working in rural communities, primarily in labour and delivery, women’s health and primary care, and PCN leadership roles.

Ms. Deagle is a Provincial Councillor with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), and is the founder and Chief Nursing Officers (CNO) of the International Network of Nurse Leaders.

She is also host of the Shift Change podcast for nurses who are ready to claim their position as agents for change.

Ms. Deagle’s focus will be building the Recreation Experiences and Leisure (REAL) program, as well as contributing to the overall goals in our new strategic plan.
