Consort, Coronation RCMP arrest male linked with oil site thefts

Consort and Coronation RCMP officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Park Crescent in Coronation in relation to information that was received about copper wire thefts in the area. 

On Aug. 28, police located and seized spools of copper wire, wire casings and break-in instruments. 

The next day, police arrested 24-year-old Dylan Goddu of Coronation and charged him with Theft under $5,000, Mischief over $5,000, Possession of break-in instruments and Possession of property obtained by crime.

He was released after a judicial hearing and is set to appear in Coronation Provincial Court on Sept. 11, 2020.
