A member located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

The vehicle failed to stop so the member didn’t pursue the vehicle.

As a result of a subsequent investigation, the suspects were identified.

With the assistance of the community, police were able to locate the suspects in the stolen vehicle.

Warrants for their arrest were sought and they were later located and arrested without incident.

As a result of the investigation, Coronation RCMP charged Danielle Nelson (39) of Sedgewick and Dallas Vaudrin (43) of Killam were charged Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000, Fail to stop for Peace Officer and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

Nelson was released from custody with his next appearance set for April 8, 2022 at Coronation Provincial Court while Vaudrin was also released but will be seen in court on May 13 in Coronation.
