Clark

It is with great sadness that we announce that Phyllis Elizabeth Clark passed away on Dec. 2, 2024 at the age of 85 years.

Phyllis treasured her family and her communities. She cherished the many friends she made through the Friday Night Supper Group, the Concert Group, both the Stettler Stitchers Quilt Guild and the St. Peter Lutheran Church Quilting group, the Tuesday Morning A&W Coffee group, the Erskine/Nevis Coffee group, the Evangelical Lutheran Ladies, Bible Study group, through her faith at St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Union Hall Community and Club and her friends and neighbours at Paragon Place, Stettler.

She especially enjoyed running the John Deere lawn mower every chance she could get whether the grass needed mowing or not!

Mom taught all her children, grandchildren and many of the great-grandchildren to sew and always shared her talents with anyone she could help out, whether sewing, quilting, mending, driving friends to appointments or just getting them to coffee.

She was a very good cook and you never left her house hungry and most often went home with fresh cinnamon buns, shortbread, apple pies, leftovers….

Predeceased by her husband and best friend Lloyd Clark; parents, Philip and May Jones; Special aunt and uncle, Kate and Harry Lockwood; brothers, Doug and Ronnie (Carla) Jones; grandson-in-law Douglas Dennie; and sister-in-law Margaret Jones.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Gwen (Fred) Jenkins and Lynn (Allan) Engel; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tara Jenkins Dennie and children, Mason, Piper, Hannah and Charlotte; Nick (Camille) Jenkins and children, Coy, Rori and Olivia; Erin (Robin) Fuller and children, Heather (Davin), Clay, Gavin and Logan; Tyson Engel and Lexie Engel.

She is also survived by special nephews and nieces, Tim Jones, Marvin LeBeau, Mae Rockarts, Dena Carlton, Pep Nielsen and John Nielsen; brother Alex (Elaine), numerous other relatives and many great friends.
