Cereal Sports Days a success

By all accounts it sounds like the Cereal Sports Days was a success. A total of 11 teams were entered to play ball. They provided action filled entertainment for the spectators Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon, July 23-25. The Cereal Athletic Association concession was kept very busy feeding players and spectators while the Cereal Campground was full and the overflow filled the Sports Grounds. The weather even cooperated with sun-filled and smoke-free skies. Friday evening saw a standing-room-only crowd at the Cereal Wild West Hotel which lived up to its name. Karaoke showcased local talent and a fun time was had by all. Saturday evening a dance was held in the Cereal Hall. Music was provided by DJ Philly P.  The light show was something to see. The Prairieland Athletic Association planned and organized a great weekend for our community. ECA Review/Submitted
