Castor Library experiences Break and Enter

A suspect accessed the property of the Castor Municipal Library located on 50 Avenue in the Town of Castor by lock-picking the front door of the building.

On April 1st, 2019 at approximately 2:00 a.m., the suspect entered the Learning Centre portion of the building through three separate doors by force.

On-site building surveillance captured an image of a male suspect who appeared to be approximately 40 to 45-years-old, had a medium build, wore glasses, baggy grey sweatpants, a zip-up hooded sweater and a baseball cap.

The male was also carrying a dark coloured backpack at the time which appeared to be full.

Nothing appeared to be stolen according to law enforcement.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have information regarding this occurrence to contact the Coronation RCMP at 403-578-3666.
