David Kenneth Buchwitz passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Aug. 17, 2017 at the age of 67 years.
David was born to Alvina and Nat Buchwitz on March 26, 1950 in Hanna, Ab. In 1973 he married Luann Lohrmann and they raised two sons, Dwayne and Kelly.
David is survived by his family: wife Luann; son Kelly (Roberta) and their boys Sullivan, Benjamin and Charles, son Dwayne; brothers Danny (Verla) and Robert (Sheila); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Predeceased by his parents Alvina and Nat Buchwitz, nephew, Wade Buchwitz, sister-in-law, Pam Schooler and parents-in-law, Lou and Carol Lohrmann.
Family graveside services were held at the Endiang Cemetery on Wed. Aug. 23, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Colin Millang of Hanna Lutheran Church officiating.
Family and friends gathered at 2 p.m. in the Endiang Community Hall for a time of sharing stories, memories and a luncheon by the members of the surrounding area of Endiang.
Donations will be gratefully accepted by Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Ave., Red Deer, AB T4R 3S6, Endiang Cemetery Club, Endiang Community Hall or to a charity of your own.
