Brodie
Peggy Lee Brodie of Strome, Alta. passed away suddenly on May 16, 2024 from an unexpected illness. She was 65.
Peggy worked hard all her life and was an extremely dedicated employee wherever she worked. She trained as a Registered Nursing Assistant and very much enjoyed her time working at the General Hospital in Edmonton. The last few years of her life, Peggy lived and worked in the Killam area.
Peggy is survived by her son, Loren; grandchildren Jack, Craig and Grace; sisters Susie (Walter) and Janet (Nick); her nieces/nephew Maureen, Nadia, Elizabeth and Charlie.
She was predeceased by parents Bob and Bert Brodie, sister Cheryn, brother Terry and nephew Alexander.
Peggy’s family is honouring her wishes not to have a funeral service and will be holding a family remembrance event.
The family asks that when you think of Peggy from time to time, you remember her sense of humour, her love of life and her, at times, “irreverent” way of talking. She will be sadly missed.
