It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Elsie Bish. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Stettler Acute Care on Jan. 16, 2023 at the age of 92.

Elsie was born in Forestburg, Alta. on Feb. 15, 1930 to her loving parents Voila and Ernest Price. Elsie married Wesley Bish and lived in Forestburg for 69 years and had three sons.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Percy (Peggy), Dale (Jean), and Russ (Louise); seven grandchildren: Aaron (Kelly), Darin (Deanne), Chris (Lisa), Pam (Jason), Kenny (Deanne), Charmaine and Zack.

Also cherishing her memory are 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; her brother Gerald Price, sister-in-law Lois Price, brother-in-law Doug Bish and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Elsie was predeceased by her loving husband Wesley and infant son John Wesley.

Also predeceased by other family members: Ted and Rita Price, Dick Price, Jean and Alvin Fink, Jack and Mable (Martz) Price, Gwen and Ernie Jans, Ernie Price, Donna Oberg, Gladys and Raymond Kemmis, Goldie and Dugald McCallum, Elaine and Harry Christman, Phyllis and Jock Higgins, Bernita and Eric Butt, Austin and Florence Bish, and daughter-in-law Jeanette Bish.

A Celebration of Life and interment will be held on Sat. April 22, 2023. Interment will take place at the Fairview Cemetery at 11 a.m. The Celebration of Life will be held at the Big Knife Villa Drop-In Centre at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or the Forestburg Villa.
