Beebe

Kenneth Delford Beebe was born Sept. 29, 1955 to Delford and Alice Beebe in the Consort General Hospital.

He was raised on their farm 13 miles north of Veteran, Alta. and went to the Veteran School for his younger years and Coronation High School for Grades 10 to 12.

Taking piano lessons from Harold Eikle and coming from a musical family, he had a love of piano playing, which never left him.

One of his lifelong hobbies was old cars and trucks, especially the old 1951 green International truck and his old Hudson car.

Reading was another of his lifelong pastimes.

Early jobs were for Nester Nydokus in his “mud packing’ business for the oilpatch and he later moved to Calgary and drove taxi for Checker cabs and lastly Yellow cabs. He enjoyed this, conversing with people from every walk of life. He spent the majority of his life in the City of Calgary.

His last weeks of life were spent in the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, where he passed away on Dec 22, 2024.

He was predeceased by his parents, Delford and Alice Beebe and leaves to mourn his five siblings: Gloria, Dale, Bernie (Charlotte), Lane and Gayle (David) and numerous nephews and nieces and great nieces and nephews.

He also leaves to mourn his Uncle Arthur Devey, Uncle Pat Davis and Aunt Jeanette Davis.

Internment will be in the Veteran Cemetery in Veteran, Alta.
