Francis Marlene Bauman of Erskine, Alta. passed away on Tues. March 29, 2022 in Red Deer, Alta. after a brief illness.
Marlene is survived by her companion Alec Salmon; loving children: Debbie (Ed) Waugh of White Sands, Duane (Dale) Bauman of Erskine, Yvonne (Bill) Dyer of Erskine, Murray (Nancy) Bauman of Erskine and Bill (Cheryl) Sims of Milk River; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter Lucy.
Also by sisters: Carole Barclay, Bev (Gordon) Bauman, Elaine (Bob) Cornelssen, Barb Gardner, Brenda (Dave) Reinbold and brother Allyn (Wendy) Volker; brothers and sisters-in-law Louise Armstrong, Norma Rairdan, Don (Ilene) Bauman, Gordon (Bev) Bauman, Brian (Myrna) Bauman, June (Dale) Petersen, Hans (Marge) Bauman and Ruth (Harvey) Lind.
He is survived also by Alec’s sons: Grant (Colleen) Salmon, Brent (Debbie) Salmon, Dan Salmon and Barry (Kim) Salmon; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and countless dear friends and neighbours.
Marlene was predeceased by her husband Martin; parents Don and Pearl Volker; mother and father-in-law Audrey and Fritz Bauman; sisters-in-law Mary Sims and Joyce Bauman; brothers-in-law Ken Bauman, Dale Barclay, Stan Gardner and great-granddaughter Emily Jane Humbke.

Funeral services celebrating Marlene’s life were held on Mon. April 4, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the Stettler Community Hall followed by a time of sharing and reflection.
