Bashaw Sports store has several firearms stolen

The RCMP responded to break-in alarms at Bashaw Sports on Dec. 7, 2019 at 4:30 a.m.

Just prior to RCMP’s arrival, four male suspects fled in two trucks with several stolen firearms.

The Bashaw RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in trying to identify these suspects.

The suspect males used a Chevrolet GMT-400 truck to smash the front door and gain entry to the store.

Once inside they removed guns from locked cases.

The guns were loaded into a white Chevrolet pick-up while the GMT-400 stayed out on the street.

The males fled in the Chevrolet pickup trucks.

RCMP were unable to immediately locate the trucks.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1

–          Wearing a dark jacket with two horizontal red stripes on chest, grey hooded sweater under the jacket, blue jeans, work gloves and white and brown shoes

Suspect #2

–          Wearing a black jacket over a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark ball cap with lighter coloured logo, dark jeans, black gloves and black boots

Suspect #3

–          Wearing a dark jacket with light coloured stripes down the sides, black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, dark gloves, white Adidas sneakers

Suspect #4

–          Wearing a dark jacket, dark toque

A short time later, the Chevrolet GMT-400 truck was located and recovered in Heisler, and determined to be previously stolen.
