Barthel
Kelly Mervin Barthel passed away Sept. 28, 2019 at the age of 56 years. Kelly was born Feb. 1, 1963 in North Battleford, Sask. to parents Marlene and Mervin Barthel.
Kelly was predeceased by his mother Marlene Mathews, father Mervin Barthel and his girlfriend Paula Linton.
Kelly is survived by his lifetime friend Donna Knull of Castor; his family: Spencer Barthel of Vancouver, Blair Knull (Stacy) of Castor, Blane Knull (Christina) of Castor, Michael Barnes (Holly Langrell) of Castor, Jenna (Tyler) Penna of Stony Plain, Morganne Williams (Aaron von Schleinitz) of Vancouver, Krysta Barthel (Justin Berry) of Provost.
He is also survived by grandchildren: Adelle Knull, Darcy, Dixie Knull, Shalee, Sky, Chole, Bailey Barnes, Trinity, Maverick, William Penna, Willow, Rowan Stang; brothers Randy (Tracy) Barthel of Red Deer and Darcy Barthel of BC and his uncle Lloyd (Debbie) Barthel; as well as other family and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Kelly’s life will be Oct. 20, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Halkirk Community Hall.
