Richard Pigeon from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #189 Mirror presented several Living Truth Christian School students on Mon. April 11 with the following awards in the 2021 Royal Canadian Legion Poster & Literary Contest including, from the left, Marianne Pratt, 1st – District Level; 3rd – Command District Level Sr. Poster Black & White; Jake Robinson (Grade 7) 1st – District Level Intermediate Poster Black & White; Nolan McDowell (Grade 3) 2nd – District Level Primary Poster Black & White; Richard Pigeon from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #189 Mirror; Emery Sandin (Grade 3) 1st – District Level Primary Poster Black & White; and 2nd – District Level Primary Poster Colour; and Jeremy Jefferies (Grade 8) 1st – District Level Intermediate Literary (Poem), 2nd – District Level Primary Poster Colour. Teacher Drew McDowell (left) was on hand to assist with displaying the awards won by Belle Sargent presented on Mon. April 11 by Richard Pigeon of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #189 Mirror for winning first place for her Color Poster Primary in the first three levels of competition resulting in her poster entry progressing to Ottawa for judging at the Dominion Level.
