Award recipients announced by Stettler Board of Trade

President Matt Dorsett and the Executive of the Stettler Regional Board of Trade & Community Development have announced the 2018 recipients of the Stettler Business & Citizenship Awards.

Male Citizen of the Year, Doug McKay;

Female Citizen of the Year; Winnie Bissett

Youth Citizen of the Year, Mya Prehn.

Business of the Year – Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium;

Small Business of the Year – Little Keepsakes;

and New Business of the Year – Stettler I.D.A.

Customer Service Award – Extreme Pita;

Community Service Award- Stettler Regional Fire Department;

Volunteers Product & Innovation Award – Two Way Oilfield Services Ltd.;

Heritage Award – Rhonda McCulloch, Danceology;

Learning in the Workplace – Generations RV Inc.;

and Eco Excellence Award – Consignment Closet.

The Stettler Awards Gala has been a celebration for the Stettler community for many years honouring the outstanding achievements of our local businesses and citizens.

The Gala will be held October 25 at the Stettler Community Hall with Burn ‘N’ Mahn Dueling Piano’s as the entertainment for the evening.
