Alberta Beef Producers elect delegates

Official counting of the ballots took place Tuesday, November 13. Zones 8 had an election, with the remaining eight zones electing delegates by acclamation. Elections took place during the Alberta Beef Producers (ABP) meetings held across Alberta in October and November.
“We were happy to have an election and with the caliber of the new delegates joining us this year. We welcome the fresh input new representatives will offer and thank them for their interest in the industry and ABP,” said Rich Smith, ABP Executive Director.

ABP represents the collective interests of Alberta’s beef cattle producers who are stewards of the industry in this province. ABP is a proud reflection of this industry. Run by producers for producers, it is dedicated to maintaining a truly sustainable, competitive industry for the benefit of all society.
