I just want to say how much I enjoyed your editorial in the Aug. 20 edition, A study in contradictions, pg. 4.
You were right on! We all like to complain about the taxes we pay, but give very little thought to what those taxes pay for.
We are a blessed people and we live in a wonderful country. For the most part, it is well governed, especially when you look at other countries.
Your article really made me think and be thankful for all we do enjoy in Canada.
Keep up the good work.
